What this pilot covers

Ten short lessons, focused attempts, combined exam practice and a final set where you choose the method. Shared SL and HL content; first assessment 2025.

Written explanations, 19 labelled diagrams, visible equation steps and optional experiments. Original-question evidence accompanies each unit.

Syllabus check

The IB-authored guide, updated November 2024, was checked at printed pages 40–41 and 79–81. Its listed amendments do not change B.2. Local U1–U10 references follow the order of its understanding bullets. Later member-only notices could not be checked.

Audit scope

169 tagged entries plus 16 additional candidates were reviewed at part level. 58 candidate entries had no selected B.2 demand. Unrelated parts and legacy extensions are recorded separately. The 104 incompletely parsed papers remain a gap, so this is not a claim of complete archive coverage.

11 unique authentic parts support the pilot. Every displayed source image and its matching answer was checked. Original variants fill the additional focused practice, with adaptations labelled. The final questions use separately reserved families and make no claim to predict a future examination.

How marking works

Numerical and multiple-choice answers are checked automatically. A correct number does not earn reasoning marks. Written answers use an explained model and a checklist for self-marking. No student accounts, live AI grading or lasting learner records are used.

Teaching and exam practice

The explanation teaches the physics first, with terms explained in context. A separate Exam focus box then connects that understanding to definitions, calculations and written answers. The source excerpts keep their original wording.

Scientific diagrams

Each of the 19 diagrams has been checked against the idea it explains, including ray paths, angles, areas, quantities and labels. Full-size links support closer inspection on small screens. Captions distinguish schematic energy flows from quantitative comparisons and state the assumptions of each model.

Presentation and preserved narration

The current lessons use study notes and static diagrams. Narration and animation work is preserved for a later review stage; no playback is required.

Scripts, file hashes, durations and word boundaries are checked. Local speech recognition provides an additional check of the produced audio. Human listening approval of every segment is not claimed; the written explanation remains available throughout.
